About the Blog

Dream Avenue is a late-game, randomly generated, “endless” dungeon appearing in the second installment of Hideo Kojima‘s underrated, solar-powered “Boktai” series of Game Boy Advance games, Boktai 2: Solar Boy Django.

It is a constantly shifting labyrinth filled with traps, monsters, and ultimately, treasure.

Dream Avenue is also the personal blog of Mike Egan, a video editor and writer living in New York City.

He mostly writes about video games.

Imagery used on the site, seen above, is environmental art from the first Boktai game‘s similarly random/endless dungeon, the Azure Sky Tower.

Environmental art from Dream Avenue is not used simply because it’s not bitchin’ enough.
