The other night, I was playing Pokémon Crystal in bed, when I came upon a Raticate. Looking upon his angry, buck-toothed visage, I began to wonder what this creature might look like absent its most defining feature.

Thereupon, I took to Adobe Photoshop and created the grim vision you see before you now.

Bereft of its enamel weapons, it yawps endlessly into the void.

Its cry carries from Ilex Forest to the Whirl Islands.

He’s yelling.
